CHICAGO, Nov 9 (Reuters) - The U.S. Department of Agriculture on Wednesday pegged the U.S. corn crop yield at
146.7 bushels per acre, below trade estimates for 147.7 bushels, and below the 148.1 bushels forecast last month.
USDA estimated the U.S. soybean crop yield at 41.3 bushels per acre, compared with trade estimates for 41.4 bushels, and
below the USDA's 41.5 bushels forecast last month.
The department estimated 2011/12 U.S. corn ending stocks at 843 million bushels, above estimates for 795 million bushels
and down from 866 million bushels last month.
Soybean ending stocks were estimated at 195 million bushels, above trade forecasts for 182 million and compared
with 160 million last month. Wheat ending stocks were pegged at 828 million bushels, compared with trade estimates for 817
million, and below the 837 million estimated last month.
