NEW YORK, Jan 5 (Reuters) - U.S. private employers
added 325,000 jobs in December, easily beating economists'
expectations, a report by a payrolls processor showed on
Thursday.
New U.S. claims for unemployment benefits fell by 15,000
last week in the latest sign the labor market was improving and
could help the country resist the effects of a likely euro zone
recession.
